Eye-opening statistics to say the least… I suspect Big Pharma and the Health Insurance Apparatus play a huge role in the situation.

Hi Laura, that might be part of it. I think another part of it is that cancer pain just isn’t a “sexy” area of research, similar to other end-of-life care issues. Very sad.
