Wednesday Video: Rest In Peace

I did my best, it wasn’t much
I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch
I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I’ll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

  1. I’ve seen you requested access to my blog. I no longer use it but I’m honoured by your interest in it. If you want to you can check out my new blog though. It’s – it’s a very dark one (at the moment) and I won’t be angry if you don’t follow. Promised. Hope you’re alright.

  2. A fitting song for the poor children lost in Newton. Hard for me to understand the killing of children. Thank you for the video. I have put the poor families in my prayers. I have four children and two grand-boys. If I lost one. My world would fall apart.

    • Welcome to Telling Knots, John.

I hear you. I don’t have any words for this tragedy. The children killed, wounded, traumatized; the adults confronting an ultimate helplessness. The shooter, barely more than a child himself. All the parents. “Even though it all went wrong, I stand before the Lord of Song with nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah.”

I have no words. No words.

  4. There are no words Knots . especially with ones so little and innocent. I still can’t read much about it. A whole city school traumatized for life.
